Despite the thin protection inside, we are surprised it doesnt have any damage. My husband and I like this metal cups fountain. Our only complaints are number 1, the motor is a bit loud and number 2, even if we fill it with 34 water already its still loud and is not relaxing. It is like we left our faucet on. Hopefully, they will add an on and off button. On the other hand, the good thing about this fountain is the water flow can be adjusted so there is no splash on the floor.
