In particular, my wife likes the ability to set the bread dough proofing temperature to 85 F. Our principal complaint is that a number of the features are on "other" options, and just have numbers -- no descriptions. I guess we are supposed to memorize the manual? This is a bad user interface. A minor complaint is that it was quite difficult to get the lower oven to connect to the HomeConnect app. It took a number of tries, and an ample supply of swear words.. The oven is working as expected. We like the controls and operation. Based on the thermometer we have in the oven the temperature seems spot on (unlike our last, non-Bosch, oven). Only complaint so far is based on one, hopefully singular, event. Had the oven on for about 2 hours at a very high temperature, and for the last 45 minutes or so the fan got really loud and it sounded "uneven" (best way I can remember it). This is our second Bosch double oven, our first being in a former home. While the same series as the one we owned before moving, it could use two features: 1. a louder timer signal when the set time has lapsed, and 2. a quicker preheating period. Only been using this for a couple months now but so far so good. It seems to cook evenly and as expected. The only minor complain so far is that it seems to take a long time to pre-heat. There is a "fast pre-heat" setting and if you use that it heats faster but still takes a while. Also when it gets warmed up there's a fan that blows out from the ovens and I haven't quite figured out what its purpose is. Setting the clock isn't intuitive. We like the telescoping rack but this double oven only comes with one of them so we bought another, one for each oven. The ovens are easy to clean. Would have given this a +4 rating otherwise, but the question is - will it happen again. Hot glass exploding is a very serious matter and not something we would have expected from Bosch. I love the chimes that indicate when preheat temp is reached and when the kitchen timer finishes. I haven't used all the various features, but for baking sourdough bread, cakes, and meals it has been fantastic. Contrast my delight with the oven with some disappointment over the Bosch cook top we purchased with it. The cooktop sags in the middle and it's almost impossible to read the markings on the knobs..
