Made for a small portion of sleepers who find most bed pillows too full. This down pillow is great for stomach sleepers or those with neck issues who have tried to buy 'soft pillows' in a store and they are still too firm. It is also great for adding a layer of cushion to an existing pillow. Note this is an extremely flat, low, and thin pillow.

The majority of the fill (about 90% of the total fill weight) is the goose feather, which is in the center chamber. The feather core provides great, resilient support due to the feather quills. The pillow remains plump when shifted about throughout the night! Comfortable, soft with a firmness which comes from the quantity of bird down. Something I didn't notice during the shopping process was the info on the tag (no way to see this until you own it): minimum 75% down. In other words, for a down pillow to exclude the word "feathers" from the description (for us folks looking for 100% bird down), it can be minimum 75% down -- the remaining percentage is feathers! That shocked me but something I now know. Unless the product description says 100% down (no feathers), expect there to be some percentage of feather parts (calamus, rachis, vane and/or barbs).
