This is a wonderful and elegant bedroom set, fit for a king (me) and a queen (wife). It is heavy, sturdy and quiet, no squeaks. It is cherry wood and designs are intricate and exquisite in detail. It is a good dresser for the money, but don't expect anything more. I decided to leave off the feet (saves cleaning underneath) and it comes fully assembled except for the feet. It is pretty heavy (well over 100 pounds), so not easy to put on the feet unless you have two strong people and room to lay it on its back. I'm not sure, but that may cause the drawer issue, but I don't think so. The drawers open and close easily, but when closing have to be pushed in the last 1/4" to be flush with the front of the dresser. Well, the bed is gorgeous. It smells great, like pine. It's solid and sturdy and easy to put together. But I'm confused. I have a normal full size (52/53-ish inches) mattress and box spring. This bed is a normal full size bed frame. I put it together correctly. But I have inches of space left where you can see the slats: The box spring/mattress don't fit snugly into the frame. It doesn't look nice. I'm contemplating returning this, but I'm not sure what I can do after I've already set it up. I think my mattress might run on the small side of a "full variation," as I now understand that mattress can slightly vary by size.
