They give you an additional two glass globes just in case you break one while installing lol. I will say the install was very nerve wracking because you had to attach these hooks to the balls and then attach them to the springs that are on the flushed mount. It puts you in the mind of attaching hooks to a Christmas ornament. You have to be very careful when installing not to risk dropping and breaking one. I absolutely love this light! I was worried about it being too gold for the room when I ordered it and did wind up putting a coat of spray paint on it just to soften it a tad.
