We ordered this bed for our grandchildren ages 2 and 4. They loved it. Assembly was fairly easy, instructions were fair. The bed did have a strong paint odor for the first few days. We did have a couple of problems. The ladder rungs were unevenly spaced and one of the braces for the slide was too short. I believe it was actually a ladder step that was mislabeled. The side rail seems flimsy. I think we will remove it because if a kid falls into it, I believe it will break the wood. It is difficult to place sheets on the bed. If the ladder was removable it would be easier to place the sheets. Twin mattresses fit well. Other than the above mentioned, I believe the bed is sturdy. I haven’t talked to customer service yet.
