This artificial Hydrangea plant seems to be quality material and looks nice. It was packaged with a lot of protection. The packaging ensured it arrived securely. Note that it is described as a bush but is really only a 13 to 12 of an actual plant. The bottom of the hydrangea is a sturdy styrofoam base which is inserted into your own ‘planter.’ It comes with a stick that can be inserted into the hole in the bottom of the styrofoam to adjust the height or the plant in your container. I found the stick to be useless for my needs. I simply put a plastic container in the bottom of my planter and placed the styrofoam on to of that. The height worked out fine and it looks natural in the planter. The base is disguised by the decorative planter. It will be used on our front porch in a corner that is challenging to have any live plants. The corner gets direct sunlight a large part of the day. The heat that radiates from the brick in that corner is too much for live plants. This will be a great alternative to a live plant. It looks very nice from a distance, which is what we want for curb appeal. When you get up really close to it you might notice it is fake, but you would need to pay close attention.
