Although not needed, I decided to protect mine by sealing/staining it with a transparent stainer (see pics) after speaking with the Enclo's customer service. Ordered the Baytown walnut, 20 pieces, 23 3/8" x 23 3/8" x 3/8". The box they came in was nearly destroyed by the time the pieces were delivered, but all the pieces arrived in very good condition. They are beautiful, sturdy and well-made, but are bare walnut, so I had to stain them first before mounting them.
