I was so excited to have this up I couldnt wait for the sheetrock repair to be done before taking a picture. (It was necessary to cut a hole for pulling electric to the unit. Get a good electrician- mine cut a way too large a hole.) I got a flat panel door to match my cabinets, which is finished in a white laminate. Unfortunately, as you can see the cabinet sides are unfinished, which was very disappointing for the price. The instructions show that you may need trim where it meets the wall. I did not need as I trimmed my space well and the studs were perfectly spaced to fit. I assume it was left unfinished for that reason. I would like it to be laminated to match the door. The cabinet holds the iron and accessories. It has a built-in timer to turn on power to the unit as well as a trigger switch that turns it off when you close it. Since most laundry rooms lack sufficient task light, I wanted this unit for the task lighting. It is great! Too bad since working from home, I dont have much laundry to iron these days.. Mary Jo.
