I absolutely LOVE this fan! It’s a lovely addition to my office. Just what it needed. It’s got a comfortable and casual style with an organic, coastal feel. There’s an ugly, big, brown fan in my office now. It is so heavy in that room it makes the ceiling look low. The ceilings are nice and high and I want to highlight that with something that draws the eye up, that provides additional light in the room. The semi sheer strings of wooden beads are gorgeous. I read on another review that said the beads were ‘pearl not wood’. That’s not the case with my beautiful fan. The natural wood color keeps it organic and feminine, with the coastal vibe that runs throughout my home. Not anchors and lighthouses kind of coastal, but thru color and fabric and feel. Some beautiful abstract coastal artwork on the walls along with a few pops of midmod furniture in the light, bright coastal colors and wood tones. My wood tones are more of the driftwood color with the gray undertones. What I had when I moved in are these wood-look, dark brown, plank tile with dark brown grout. It’s uneven in a few places, has several chips and absolutely sucks the light out of rooms. So I’m going to install LVP flooring in a natural color and beautiful style and finish. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this light fixture! Again, other reviews said it was smaller than they expected. I had the opposite experience. Because of the very few reviews, that said it was small and in a few kids rooms, I was hesitant. When it was delivered, I do my count of all of the pieces, parts and tools are there. to be sure all of the parts and pieces are there. I was surprised at the beautiful fuller size! I guess I was picturing a tiny fixture after reading the reviews. It’s gorgeous. Just wow! It gets hung tomorrow and the installation looks really simple. Saving money on the installation! Nice! this is such a beautiful fan. it made such a design difference in the nursery. it was very easy for my husband to install. it is lightweight and you can tell it is very good quality. the light changes color temperature and is dimmable which was a huge plus for us, and the fan really throws air even on the lowest speed.. I have 3 Fandeleirs and this is by far my favorite one. I got the silver and I’m so glad I did. Gorgeous! We are very happy with our purchase of the Alessandra Tropical ceiling fan with light in gray ashed tone w/brushed nickel. I was looking for something for our guest room in our Florida home that would help make our guests feel they were on vacation and this fit the bill. We've thrilled with our purchase. The only negative is that the remote changes the light warmth but not necessarily the brightness - there is no dimming option on remote. Gorgeous fan, but thought the blades were too small to really move air around our bedroom. To be fair, we hadnt installed it to really test it out. We have.a similar one in a smaller bedroom and it only pushes the air directly under as opposed to the more traditional ceiling fan. Our upstairs gets warm, even with central air.
