My son loves this bed. I wanted a way to get him to stop sleeping in our bed and I thought a car bed would be great. Hard to find anything that’ll ship up to alaska though. I’m glad I found this truck bed on Wayfair that really does resemble a truck and would actually ship here, though the shipping price was outrageous especially since it was not heavy at all. Assembly is also fairly easy, although it’s not very sturdy. I will probably be putting in more screws than recommended and using wood for a support instead of a boxspring. Ashley. Awesome! Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, lots of storage, two seats, sunshade, big wheels for the sidewalk or grass, rides smoothly, great for two kids! This is just the right height for me to get into my VERY tall bed easily, and it seems really sturdy. The thing I would change is that the top is VERY smooth, and I could easily see myself swinging out of bed and slipping off. I put two strips of gripper tape for stairs on it, and it will be fine - I happened to have some in the house. I wouldn’t recommend using it without doing that first.. Carol. Bought this second Twin/Toddler Race Car Bed for my grandson since he’s done so well in the one at my house. This made the transition from crib to big boy bed so smooth. The 16 1/2” height with a 10” mattress in a box is the perfect combination. Easy to climb in and out of and he sometimes goes to play there just for fun. This stool locks when you step on it and has two levels which makes it easy to step up to the top level safely. I’m 5’4 and able to reach shelves 7+ feet up (ceilings are 9ft and cabinet top is 8ft).
