Fit perfectly under my 8x10 flat woven rug! I didnt have to trim it at all. I put so much research into selecting a good rug pad and eventually settled on this one. I cant fathom spending more or the same amount of money on a rug pad as the rug. It doesnt make sense to me. Anyway, this one seems to do what I wanted it to do so Im good with that. Learn from my mistakes though and dont place your rug down before getting the pad. I was impatient and went ahead and placed my rug and furniture down. Then I had to move everything once I received this and put it back down. My rug came rolled up all nicely and had I waited to place it down, Im sure it wouldve been so much easier to put on top of this pad. I skipped my workout for the day because of the blood, sweat, and tears I shed trying to move all my furniture, put this pad down perfectly, and then put a heavy flat woven rug down on top of it perfectly, and then place all my furniture back. I almost burned through my last nerve, but survived this ordeal somehow. Thankfully, my rug hasnt budged since its been down.
