This desk is SO gorgeous! Beautiful, quality, heavy, solid wood with a nice finish. It is very classy/elegant looking. I decided to change the knobs which came with the desk and there was a little damage to the finish behind the original knobs, but it does not bother me as I don’t think it is very noticeable. Please note that the cord grommet is located in a bit of an odd position. In my picture it is located exactly underneath the owl pencil cup. It perhaps could have been placed more towards the back of the desk but again, not a big deal. The drawers of the desk glide smoothly and offer lots of storage space. The delivery drivers were very courteous, professional, and helpful. I bought this desk as a replacement for another desk from Wayfair which arrived damaged and unusable. I absolutely LOVE this desk! I debated for a long time about getting it. I did not want to spend quite so much on a desk, but I also wanted something pretty, something that would look good in my guest room office, but also be very practical to use everyday. I bought a different desk first - a desk that comes in a million pieces of compressed particleboard that took 2 hours to put together. It was ok, but the desk was wobbly, the drawer fronts never were aligned properly, and it didnt look like furniture. I am SO glad I returned that one and so glad I spent a little extra to get this beautiful piece of furniture! The only assembly I had to do was attach the legs which was simple. Once assembled this desk is rock solid! NO wobble, drawers slide smoothly, the insides of the drawers are even nice! The velvet lined keyboard traydrawer is a really nice touch too - whatever your preference, the middle drawer makes an excellent keyboard tray (thats how Im using it) but it could also be used as a drawer. The surfaces of the desk are smooth white (no wood grain) and there is a small recessed notch around the edges of the desk, which adds to the beauty of the desk (and acts as a crumb catcher - so a can of compressed air will be very useful cleaning that up!) The desk has a finished back and looks good on all sides. The cable management area underneath is a great place to hide cords - I used some command strip hooks to keep things from hanging down. This is worth the money and worth the wait - once I finally decided to buy, it was out of stock so I checked back daily and got lucky with one being available after a couple of weeks. The ONLY bad thing... The white surface of this desk is easily marked by anything that slides across it, so Im trying to be REALLY careful to keep it new looking!
