The chiseled front edge springs to life through the artistry of a meticulously hand-painted finish. Made in the USA, this shelf has a 9-inch depth allowing for ample room on top for personal effects. Due to the natural imperfections captured from the Limestone, the top of the mantel shelf will have natural offsets and depressions and the dimensions will vary slightly, i.e. shelf height and depth will be marginally different across the entire mantel. 5”H x 9”D 100lbs. We chose this for the color as it was the best match to what we wanted to do with the stone we are placing. Plus it states it can take the heat which is a great bonus. Although hanging at the correct distances away from the heat it gives an added security it won't get overly hot. The mantle has striations/lines within and not a uniform color which I really like it (see photo of mantle side) and it adds to the overall look. Great quality, easy to hang and light weight while looking substantial. I have enclosed a photo of the stone we are using although we have not started that project yet. I am always leary when I order an expensive item such as a fireplace on line. However, this did not disappoint! I am so impressed on the aesthetics and quality of this product. The packaging was superb and not a chip on the concrete. The assembly was a bit of challenge since I had it framed differently from the instructions in order to accentuate the arch. The pictures don’t do justice. I really love the French Provençal look it’s giving. This definitely will anchor the vibe that I’m trying to achieve with my house renovation goals! Thanks to my brother and dad who completed the installment and the amazing work they did!!! (The photos are the before and after; I decided to take out the glass to make it look rustic). Hanz.
