As the other reviews mentioned this arrived with extra hardware and tassels but no instructions, and the cover was on upside down so the faux fur side was hard and flat while the reverse backing fabric was plush and cushy. The cover is removable and on the inside is just a circular fiberboard with batting on one side, so this is an easy fix - just unzip the cover and either rotate it around the inner contents, or pull out the batting and stuff it back in on the opposite side of the fiberboard. The hardware it comes with is a type of expansion bolt. You can find videos on YouTube that explain how to use them.
I did not end up hanging mine from the ceiling because of the problem mentioned by other reviewers - the thing is so lightweight that it swings freely and most cats aren't going to like that or easily be able to jump in and out of it when it's swinging around even if they wanted to. I solved this problem by hanging out from the corner of my steel canopy bedframe and putting three 5-pound weights inside the cover, on the underside of the fiberboard. This gives the hanging bed enough weight to stabilize it. In this location the cushion is only about 4-5" above the surface of my bed, so entering it doesn't require my cat to leap into it, which also made him more inclined to use it than something he'd have to jump into. He does like it, and I like that he can sleep in the corner of the bed without pinning my feet down under the covers at night, so it's ultimately a win and we'll be keeping it.
I'm not sure a drywall ceiling would be strong enough to safely support the bed from a single expansion bolt with the added weight, however, and would recommend finding a more solid structure or using extreme caution before letting your cat try to jump in it until you've thoroughly tested the ability to support a 10-15 lb weight being thrown into it at the speed a leaping cat moves..
