Overall a nice unit. There were scuff marks on some end pieces. There was a noticeable chip in one side panel. Two holes for the confirmat screws were too big and could not get any grip. If I had wood glue, I would have used it. Easy to put together. Be careful of the placement of backing nails. Tap in lightly as the nails are made of aluminum and can bend easily.. Miles. I don't know if others were lucky or if I was unlucky but I had a lot of trouble getting it together because several holes were slightly off. In fact, I could only get 7 base screws in. Since, however, it is impossible to find that out before putting it together and then it's impossible to return it, I'm still giving it 4 stars because it is stable, spins well and holds 320+ paperback books in less space than 2 traditional bookcases. In fact, I'm probably going to buy another one. That'll get rid of my final bookcase, take up half the space and leave me room to expand. So many books, so little time and space.. Monique.
