My area lighting stores wanted hundreds of dollars more for fans that are not this pretty. This fan is stunning. The tiffany glass colors are deep, rich and warm. I also like the choice of blade colors: one side is black, and the other side is a medium wood color. The fan is very quiet when whirling. I am female and had no problem putting this fan together.
