Not quite done putting up the ceiling tiles in our bedroom, but am super happy with them! Easy to attach to the existing (50 year old) wallpapered ceiling, and they look great! We painted them a matte off-white color before putting them up so they didn’t look so stark bright and plastic. Will definitely use these in other rooms of the house as we continue to remodel!. This is really thin styrofoam with a design of wood printed on one side. Just like a styrofoam cup. It takes more glue than you think even though very light. I used liquid nails. At first I just put around the edges as they are raised, but they didn’t stay up. So I had to put more like pictured. Even a new box cutter was not sharp enough for a clean edge, so I used scissors to trim. I will have to caulk the raw edges for a clean look tho. Easy to work with. Looks good and if you have an ugly ceiling, I would recommend to try. Four packs to a box. I used two ( half) for my small bathroom. Will use the rest on closet ceilings, I think. I really like this tile. I scrapped my popcorn ceilings but it still looks really bad. I wanted something to cover up what’s left of the popcorn. The only reason I didn’t give the tile 5 stars is because I need to paint them (they look like styrofoam) and that they are fire resistant.
