While this is a very nice Chenille Chaise Lounge, it is not an oversized chair. It looks wide because it has white arms. The sitting area is that of a normal chair. Very good for flat-pack furniture. All the parts were packed and marked well. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I’m a female over 70 and put them together by myself—a bit more than an hour per piece. The “green” color is more greengrayslate than a true green. Overall, this is an excellent reading chair for the price. Mine arrived in two pieces and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing to note: you have to unscrew the bottom plank to access the instructions and screws. My main issue is that the fabric feels a bit on the cheaper side and arrived quite wrinkled, which made the chair look somewhat inexpensive at first. I used a steamer to smooth it out, and it now looks much better. Comfort-wise, it’s good—not exceptional, but definitely not uncomfortable. The chair is also a bit smaller than I anticipated. Hi Wayfair shopper! I recently purchased this chair and ottoman set for a teen gamers room. I needed something for a small space that was comfortable. First, let’s talk assembly. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, the tools were clearly labeled, and overall it wasn’t too bad. The only issue I had was with some of the fabric being too bulk around the screw points. However I was able to move the excess fabric without ruining the integrity of the chair. The other “issue” I found was the instructions weren’t very clear on the direction of the ottoman base to the sides. However I quickly figured it out and thankfully assembled correctly the first time. I found with the ottoman it’s best not to tighten all of the bolts until they are all on, as it can cause a slight misalignment. The chair was very easy and lightweight putting together with very clear instruction. Next, overall look of the chair. The fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch, but the chair is a little bit smaller than I had anticipated. The back of the chair doesn’t recline and it does seat you straight upright. So this chair would work better as a reading chair, guest chair, or accent chair. But for the small space that I needed it in, it fit perfectly. I especially liked that the ottoman doubles as extra storage and can slide all the way under the chair. Which is very useful for a small space. Overall a great little chair, I gave it 4 stars just because it was smaller than I had thought. Definitely recommend if you’re needing a cute accent chair with storage for a small space.. Angela.
