This duvet is beautiful. I read reviews that it sheds when you sit on it and clogs up the dryer. I have not had issues with it getting on my clothes but it definitely sheds a ton in the dryer. This duvet cover & sham set was just what I wanted. The "brown" color is a very nice, true light brown. I had my wedding dress made into pillows; and now they look great with this color cover and my blue sheets. The only glitch was that the item page says it's machine washable and to dry on the LOW heat setting...but the tag says to dry on the NO heat setting. I was concerned about shrinkage, so I alternated between no and low heat. It took hours. If you can hang dry this, that might be best - but you might have to iron out the crease. It looks like a heavy gauze texture after washing. It's really nice and casual. FYI, the zipper closure on the cover does not go all the way across the bottom. This did not hinder my ability to insert & tie the duvet. This cover has eight ties, so I made sure to buy an insert with eight loops. Highly recommend!. Ann. Pisgah Forest, NC. Wed Mar 26 2025
