I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. I really like this purchase. I was looking for healthy cookware (no chemical coated stuff) and this pot is almost entirely stainless steel. There is an inner part of the pot that is not stainless steel, but that's okay, because it's layered (intumed if you will) within stainless steel, so that part never touches your food. I just recently purchased this set because Cuisinart is supposed to be a reliable household name and I liked that it was rated as safe nonstick stainless steel cookware! However the two smaller fry pans that came with the set have marks in them as if they’ve been scuffed so I’m not happy!
