I really like this purchase. I was looking for healthy cookware (no chemical coated stuff) and this pot is almost entirely stainless steel. There is an inner part of the pot that is not stainless steel, but that's okay, because it's layered (intumed if you will) within stainless steel, so that part never touches your food. I was going to give this pot 5 stars upon arrival. It's beautiful to look at with a solid build. But after first use I noticed a very slight drip on the sides of the pot coming from the handle rivets on one side. Very slight, and does not interfere with cooking, but still, no pot should have this condition. Still deciding whether or not to send it back for an exchange of same, but fearful that the time and bother spent in doing so may not worth it, especially at risk of another pot doing the same. This is a nice 6 Qt. pot by Cuisinart. Perfect for soups, stews, chili..etc. It has measurement lines on the inside of the post for 4, 8 12, 16 and 20 cups. I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. I think I have found my new favorite brand of cookware. My other pots and pans are also tri-ply, but sub par in construction even though they're a top brand. You can see the 3 layers on the edge of my other pots, and they create a sharp edge. This is not so with Tramontina, they made sure to finish that edge smooth. It's these small attentions to detail that really speak towards their quality control. Temperature distribution is top notch (checked with a laser thermometer) and the pan overall feels solid. Pots are nice. Would have given it a 5 star but I had problems removing the sticker from the pot. It also left a silver stain on the glass stove put I was able to remove it. I still will use for food representation because they are very nice pots. Just keep in mind the sticker removal (look up you tube videos on how to remove the sticker) and using baking soda and lemon to remove any stains if you have a glass top stove.. Janety.
