I really wanted a bench for a good place to sit kids if I need to, but I was pleasantly surprised to have it easily seat 3 average- sized adults! My husband, adult daughter, and teenage son all sat on this comfortably for dinner. It is a true white color, as you can see from my photo against my antique white table legs and walls. Having a back makes bench seating so much more comfortable and this one is the perfect height to fit under my service window. We thought it looked too bulky in our space at first, but it has really grown on us! I haven’t decided if I’ll paint it antique white to match the surroundings. I took off one star because one of the sides came with a misaligned hole! Thankfully, my husband it handy and measured and drilled a hole in the correct spot. This is a fine piece. Hardy, pretty it’s storage space is useful. The only thing I don’t really like is the height.
