Great investment for the kids! Assembly was fairly easy. My husband started the base and I finished the top while he was at work. Ours came missing one part - the second blue string for the two compartments on the right side. Each one is supposed to have two strings to open it. I will have to contact wayfair or replace both so they match. Other than that, no complaints. We love the awning for the sunny days to have a place to play in the shade. It’s worth every penny!. Liz.
