Makes a statement but not overpowering, we are right on the water and wanted a costal vibe to our beach house without being kitchy and this is perfect. Really produces a good draft and works silently. The only thing is when you initially use the remote control it has a once beeping sound before doing required thing you asked it for. We are in a large open space and was scared this would be too small but as the blades are wide it overcompensates the length of the blade and works well. Assemble instructions said to assemble the blades once it was up but that was awkward and would have been easier for one person to attach the blades then attach it to ceiling.. judith.
