This was a huge disappointment unfortunately. The colors are deceiving online.
I ordered a very large 4 ft height size, and despite the lack of bubble wrap and that the box was left on my porch completely open without tape on the side where it pulls out, it was in perfect condition and the corners were sealed but not with any cardboard. It is amazing there was no damage to the canvass.
However, the colors on the canvass are hideous, and if you look very closely and zoom in to the image advertised you can see that what at first appear as pretty colored pastel specks that tie in with it’s classy simplistic hint of glam are actually a terrible hue of burnt orange and brown circles with a near forest green set of strokes to outline the dress shape.
I was horrified as my bedroom turned out so gorgeous in silver decor with hints of faint dark purple and pewter colored hues. I think this design is so cute, and the size that scared me some seeing it on the porch is actually quite perfect for the amount of wall space I have. I wanted that shimmer look created by the speck shapes and subtle but variety of pastel color to accentuate the subdued glam charm of the room.
You can see in my photos that even using my own smartphone camera and fairly close with it being so big that the colors aren’t obviously the ugly burnt orange and green until the photo I show at a near straight on angle just inches away from the canvass. In my photos, it almost does appear to have specks of various color. But, with just seeing it in any light even from several feet away from the canvass standing there anywhere in the room, the burnt orange and green don’t beautify even if you let out a sigh and blur your eyes.
I intend rather than returning the monster size print to go to Hobby Lobby today and buy some craft pieces of mirror, rhinestone and maybe some colored types of sequins to glue on and embellish the print to blend the colors and overcome the unfortunate dilemma. Adding a wall art piece next to it ended up a fail as I searched. There was no way to make the gown’s orange and green blend in any way with my silver and purplish tinted decor. It stole the sparkle and elegance from the room.
