It's aight. No issues with holes out of place put together in 1 hr 45 minutes one person. A little hard to get over the ladder. I sure hope weight limit of 400 lbs is accurate cause I'm 140 and my kid 30 and a good 20 pnd mattress and bedding. It wobbles but there is a kit I will install tomorrow to secure it to the wall to prevent wobble. The wobble doesn't feel unsafe and it is not creaky at all even when I got on it. Update: added the tie to wall with the kit it came with and it helped the swaying immensely. I have now slept on it a few times so it definitely holds 200+ pounds.. Anonymous. . 2022-05-09 15:14:39

Purchased for a college dorm room. Had no idea dorm beds were set up so high! This made the bottom shelf on this unit so low that my daughter would have hit her head on it unless we put it on risers. When we placed standard risers underneath the legs, it no longer fit width-wise, which created a 2 ft space between the head of the bed and the wall, so her pillow will be falling through. It is also a bit wobbly (even before risers) if set on a hard floor (would probably be ok on carpet). When it comes home with her after her second semester, it will not be going back to college again the following fall. SO, if you are placing this over a simple twin platform bed (no headboard) that sits low to the floor, it should work great. Otherwise, it probably won't as the shelves are not adjustable.. Pamela.
