This fountain is beautiful and makes a great gentle water noise. The pump is a bit smaller than I think it should be for the fountain and the water height in the image on wayfiar's site is misleading. The water only comes out of the top spout maybe 2 inches in height. However, if it came out as much as shown in their image I would imagine a lot of water would be lost by splashing. I took a star off of my review because the finish is left to be desired. I deliberately purchased black because I imagined that over the years I would need to re-paint or touch up the fountain and I wanted an easy to match color. Good thing I did because during transport the black finish rubbed off of many places on the base of the fountain as well as the top bowl leaving white showing. The reason I took off another star is because the top bowl was difficult to level. For the price of this fountain you should not have to use shims if the base is perfectly level (which mine was). I was expecting better manufacturing on this due to the cost and not to mention that the top bowl must be perfectly level for water to flow over all sides evenly. Wayfair did work with me some on the finish damage but even with a small discount the fountain is still too over priced with the other issues.
