We installed on a 4 foot extension rod due to 16ft high ceilings and our electrician said it's a very nice fan because he does not see many that can be installed on a pole that long and not wobble when its running. He said it didn't need balancing at all. We have had Hunter fans in all our homes and they are all very high quality. We rounded out the installation with a Lutron Caseta fan smart control switch. (PD-FSQN-WH) to control the fan speed & on/off by voice or PICO remote. This is in our pool house so the voice control helps to make sure everything is off remotely from the main house after the kids come in for dinner. Works great. . Jim.
