I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. I bought this set because of how many pots come with it. I love that I get 3 sauce pots! They stack great, are lightweight, and look really nice. The lids are shallow so they can stack upright in a drawer and don't take up very much space. The bottom is smooth and coated which is a plus because the dishwasher doesn't dull the bottom of the pan, however I have noticed that it is doing it to the top rim of the pans. They are starting to get that dull rainbow look from the dishwasher. So these pans can go it the dishwasher but they will last longer if they are hand washed. The lids are vented on 2 sides. I wish they only vented on one side or the top because when you have 4 things going on the stove at once that's 8 spots where steam comes out! It is a cute color and they seem to be well made, however, you really need to mention that they are smaller than a normal cookware set. The entire set after I hand washed it fit on 1 standard kitchen towel. I will never use 2 of the pieces because they could be a kids play set. (The small fry pan (1 egg) and the small sauce pan (maybe 1 cup of hot chocolate). I did use the "large" fry pan with cover to make 3 eggs....it worked great...they slid out but I thought that this pan was big enough for chicken or pork chops or heating up a bag dinner....no way....this is my egg pan.
