Edit I’m a little disappointed in the quality of the mailbox. After installing i can see light from the outside and air comes in through these areas. The other thing i noticed is the the flap on the outside is somewhat sharp straight edge metal. It’s not comfortable to open with fingers. We had a mail slot before that was well sealed and has a nice edge that was easier to open. -This is true oil rubbed bronze. Still had oil on it when I received it. It is very shiny and pretty. However, it feels pretty lightweight, like tin, not heavy like brass. Perhaps it never said it was brass but the name implied it. Also, the first box lists a company in Ohio but the inside box says Made in China. I like it but am not optimistic it will age well but look forward to seeing it on my door.. Christine.
