I ordered two of these lamps to sit on my porch on either side of a new Polywood sofa. They are exactly what I was looking for. They are incredibly well made and they are very heavy so I don't have to worry about them blowing over in a heavy wind. They have a heavy glass cover above the light bulb which I am sure will protect the lamps if they get wet. If you are looking for lamps to read by in an outdoor setting these can't be beat. I spent hours shopping for weather resistant lamps and I am very glad that I chose these. The only suggestion that I would make to the manufacturers is that the heavy weight electrical cord is black and the lamp, shade and stand are white and it would have been more visually pleasing is they had used a white electrical cord.. Love the look & design of the outdoor light the most! It matches my new outdoor furniture perfectly. The weaving pattern & color. It’s very substantial, a great weight & height. Nothing to build, so that came easy. Just have to take it out of the box & find where it should go. I left it outside all day long & the light was still on the next day around 5am or so. It really does work well! If you live in windy environments I would suggest placing it near something or moving it around during a heavier storm. All in all- love it! This lamp with emits soft warm white light, bright but not extremely bright, doesn't hurt the eyes, and will add a nice accent to almost any room.

UPDATE: One doesn't work without fussing with it due to flimsy wiring in the entire socket. These are NOT replaceable bulbs!! They're wired to the socket. You can unscrew them to find them connected with very flimsy wires. Def NOT WORTH THE MONEY! We've used these 3 times for about 15 mins each time now there's a problem with one. Shop elsewhere for a better price! These are very cute and perfect for outdoor table. However they're lightweight to the point of blowing off the table in a higher wind so I'll be bringing them in when we have high winds and or storms. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough for me to take this outside yet but I tested it inside and it seems to work great. The material is soft but it is also pretty sturdy.
