I love that this bookshelf shipped in one box. It was heavy! It took me and my partner about 3 hours to assemble. All the instructions were not clear but we managed to get it done. Shelf seems pretty sturdy! It is also pretty tall so measure first. I have high ceilings and still have about 2 - 3 feet to the ceiling after placing my monitor on top. I wouldn’t say it is heavy duty made of the similar material from the 30 shelf I replaced. I love how it fits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom. There is plenty of storage space. The shelf comes with black tabs that you are supposed to use to cover the screws…. They don’t stick well and they are already starting to peel up. Took about 2 1/2 hours for me to assemble by myself. Has about 40 steps while there are a lot of pieces it does look nice. I ended up going with the black and walnut colors, but the one thing I couldn’t get right were the drawers. Couldn’t get the reveals even after making multiple adjustments.
