These deck boxes are great! The directions are not the best and that is the reason many (including myself) have had the lid support strip out the holes. Make sure you orient the side panels so that the holes are closer to the BACK panel. Depending on how you interpret the instructions, this is easy to get backwards. Looking at all the photos of others who have stripped out the holes, it’s because they made the same mistake I did. The good thing is you can easily move them back and create new holes in the plastic when driving the screws in by hand with a screwdriver.
