This vintage style metal platform bed frame with arch design, headboard and footboard is absolutely gorgeous. I was a little worried because I have never had a bed like this and wasn’t sure how sturdy it would be. I have a Tempur-pedic mattress on it, which is a very dense heavy mattress, and the bed is quite sturdy. Does not have any flimsiness to it whatsoever. Also, the color is white and absolutely perfect. It has a touch more cream in it then a bright white, but in my opinion, it is absolutely gorgeous . I tried to show the photo of how you’re able to put storage containers underneath the bed. The bed is nice, but I wish I had paid attention to the height of the headboard- you can even see it if you stand pillows up against it. I think it seems sturdy and seems to be sturdy. Assembly was a bit difficult because initially we ended up putting legs on the wrong side and the side rails upside down. This could be avoided with better labeling. Overall we are happy with the bed, but wish I could buy an extension to make the headboard taller. For reference this is the chestnut color option- I think the listing for this bed has the driftwood color pictured in both the driftwood and chestnut photos.
