Heated the temperature by pet's own body,no limited shelter for protecting community, outdoor stray cats, and feral animals.

Cute little house! Directions say a drill is optional but I dont think I couldve put it together without one. Very few pre drilled holes, so it would be quite tough with just a screwdriver. I was able to put it together by myself with the exception of the lid, its pretty heavy so needed a 2nd person to hold it up while I screwed it on.. Eliott. Philadelphia, PA. Mon Oct 19 2026

This cozy cat house is just what I needed in order to offer my neighbor cat a warm sheltered spot. My only criticism is that when it arrived the instructions advised placing it in a sheltered area, garage, shed etc. The description mentioned patios. I had to place it against my sliding patio doors under eaves to lessen exposure. It is otherwise sturdy and well made. I'm happy with it and more importantly the neighbor cat is happy with it!. Sturdy, well insulated and good for multiple cats. I covered one of the lower doors to keep the wind from blowing in by changing it to a heavier fabric. I also had to remove the other plastic door flaps because the cat was too afraid of them. (The flap alterations happened later and aren't shown in the picture) Easy to assemble and took about an hour. Some of the pieces did not have labels and it was difficult to know if we had the Velcro in the right direction. Keeps the rain out well. I had to lure her in with cat treats multiple times before she saw it as a safe place. Great buy, would recommend. Although, the cat perch on the top floor is not wide enough to entice the cat. It's too narrow. The bottom porch is perfect to hold a water dish and food to comfortably eat on.. Andrea. Tyrone, PA. Fri Oct 02 2026

This went together ok. The insulation panels, without something to cover them I can see a cat digging at them and tearing them apart. I've had this together and outside for a few months now...cats aren't using it yet but it's holding up in the weather pretty well. I didn't install the hydraulic arm...the directions weren't super clear on that and the tension in the arm was just too much for me to want to deal with. But that's a me problem I reckon.. Mary. Heath, OH. Mon Jun 01 2026

This will be great for our feral kitty. We haven't had a chance to check out how the cat likes the inside or how the heating pad works in the cold, but right now, the kitty likes being underneath the deck. The complaints about the dirt is just referencing the granules that come off of the roofing material ... be sure to assemble in a place where you can clean them up easily. Assembly was a bit challenging, for things like attaching the housing unit to the deck ... it's hard to get underneath to drive in the screws and I would recommend drilling holes through the decking first, not much room to maneuver and at this point you can't really turn it on it's side and keep things aligned. I used a short phillips screwdriver to set the screws, then turned it on its side to tighten them. Roof assembly was a bit challenging. there's no real positioning instructions so I used the aggregate on the short side pushed up to the housing part for alignment. Screwing in the roof was also a challenge. After positioning, I marked the hinge screw holes with a pencil, took off the roof pieces (did this one by one), drilled holes (btw, drill larger holes in the door strip flap attachment and other small wood pieces to keep the wood from splitting), put the roof pieces back on, and screwed them in ... not much room to maneuver here either ... I had to rest the unit on my knee to elevate it to screw in the hinges. The last challenge was putting on the roof peak piece, not really clear on the instructions. I turned it positioned it so it laid the flattest ... may not me exact center, but pretty close, then screwed it in ... on side only where the pre-drilled holes are. The roof support pieces you need to position as in the instruction diagram ... the one screw hole/screw acts as a pivot hinge to open and rest the roof part on ... not shown in the diagram. The unit is pretty big, much bigger than I anticipated. No complaints, but be prepared ... you could sublet it to college students. So far, I pleased with the purchase. I'd have given 5 stars if assembly went smoother ... perhaps you can benefit from my notes. The assembly was a bit. Bob. Brentwood, TN. Wed Sep 23 2026

Nice little cat condo. Easy to assemble . I have an outside for a feral cat and it held up through salt wind and rain. I had to block off one of the entrances due to the wind but since it has three entrances he still had a quick in and out. Anonymous. Washington. Sun May 10 2026
