I didnt open the box yet bc waiting for construction crew to finish up. Im hoping its ok and not damaged in the box. Well the corner flake board was a bit crunched, no big deal. I put it together myself. It was a bear until I tossed the directions after step one and put the non-restrainable locking top on bottom and turned it on the side to finish. Speaking of non locking top, who ever thought this was a good idea Put a latch on the table top to avoid smashed fingers and moving it for pre build safely. I Suggest bungie it to stabilize. So I have mixed feelings about this coffee table. It’s really lovely overall. The natural oak color is beautiful, I love the lift-top feature for working on my laptop, and it has so much hidden storage. It’s become a dumping ground for our family albums and random knickknacks, which I actually love. But it a bit of a pain to put together, and it sits really low to the ground. I also wish it was larger. I know the dimensions are listed so that’s on me for not looking closely but the size just feels a off in a room with standard living room furniture.
