Oh boy where do I start I guess with that fact that it took five and a half hours to build this thing!! The piece came out looking pretty nice pretty fancy very happy with the purchase. I'd originally cancel this order to get a different dresser but it ended up getting delivered anyway. It was way too heavy for me to send it back so I ended up keeping it. On the plus side I'm glad I kept it because I didn't like the other one that I ordered. I only gave it a 4-star because it had a little scratch on the bottom part. But overall very nice dresser. A very well made chest which arrives very well packaged. I have the white which is a creamy white with slight rubbings of brown on some edges. It is tastefully distressed, nothing overt or fake looking, just a gentle, sophisticated piece. The three middle drawers are on metal glides, the side doors open and close smartly. The two top "drawers" on either side are not really drawers. They do not open but they extend the space in the side doors below them. There is an adjustable shelf within the side door openings so an item on the shelf can be very tall, going up into that open space. The drawers and side door spaces are nicely finished inside.. This is a lightweight but sturdy little cabinet. It comes completely assembled, which is what I wanted. And it is a perfect entryway piece. Lots of storage inside, but looks very elegant on the outside. It was slightly damaged in shipping (FedEx’s issue, not Wayfair’s) but Wayfair’s customer service was right on a resolution as soon as I contacted them, so everything turned out great. The Look: Beautiful dresser. I got the espresso color and its a rich, dark cool brown color. It fits a 43" tv on the top easily with room for knickknacks. The drawers themselves hold a decent amount of clothing. The Arrival: Got here quickly! The package it arrives in is very heavy. I'm a short small 5'3" woman with weakling arms lol, so it was a lot of pushing and dragging to get the package to the elevator in my apartment building. So if you plan to move this yourself, it is not light so be aware! Assembly: That said, I was able to put it together myself following the directions closely. You have to put the drawer slider parts which was very tricky. You have to tighten them as much as possible without stripping the screws, otherwise the drawers will catch on them. I have one drawer that catches now and then. It is also a lot of work to assemble, I did it over a few days slowly for a few hours each night, although I'm sure if you have multiple people working on it it will go faster. I also didn't end up putting the door on it. I like the open look as I'm using that section for books/dvds. It was also difficult to try to get the hinges on without a power tool versus just a screwdriver. The door is also heavy so hard to align by oneself.
