We are very pleased with the newest version of Cuisinart coffee maker. We had the previous version for several years before it gave up the ghost. I was pleasantly surprized that the grinder was much quieter than our stand alone coffee grinder. The counter tops stay much cleaner now that we don't have to transfer the grounds from the grinder to the coffee pot. Easier to measure the amount of beans for the coffee than the ground beans. The only problem we have is the moisture that collects in the grinder from the coffee brewing. We leave the lid off the grinder so that the water droplets evaporate after we are done enjoying our morning brew. We replace the filter in the basket and we are ready for the next morning. Pros: Two appliances for the price of one. Cons: It has a lot of parts that must be in place in order to get your morning coffee, moisture in the grinding chamber.. Glenn.
