I got this in the 1.5 qt. size and you can see what a standard 15.5 oz can of food looks like in there for scale. I've had this 3 years now and can say Tramontina's tri-ply is really good quality. I'm not sure why they don't seem to get as much attention as brands like Calphalon, but they should. I also have a Tramontina 8" tri-ply skillet and it performs really well, too. This little pan duo checks all of the boxes for someone who enjoys cooking like I do. Both pans are deep. Its especially noticeable on the 1.5 quart, which feels like at least a 2 quart because of that, which is the size of pan I most commonly reach for when I am cooking. The 3 quart pan has a straining lid AND a pour spout!! Both pans have silicone handles on the lids and also the pots themselves. The handles on the lids got pretty warm when I used them for cooking, but nothing unbearable.
