Overall this bed is great, but there were a few things that surprised me. The color is much lighter pink than what’s in the picture. I expected it to be more of a dark blush, but instead it was a really light pink. Also, I know it says it’s a platform bed but I didn’t realize how low the bed actually is. The feet to the bed are only a few inches and there is no boxspring so it’s pretty low to the ground. It’s ok because this bed is for my 3 year old, but I don’t know if I would love that if I were using this bed for an adult or older child. Lastly, I wish the headboard were slightly taller personally. If I stood the pillows straight up, you wouldn’t see the beautiful headboard at all.
