Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. Very pretty desk, we’re using it as my daughter’s home schooling work station instead of a vanity and it’s working well so far. It was definitely a process putting together, took close to 6 hours but it’s well worth it. The mirror isn’t a great quality, but I am going to remove it and paint over it with chalk paint..
