It's a popcorn popper. It works as expected with no issues. It does however look great and is a far cry from the basic black popper I bought in college 20 years ago for $6 that is still kicking. The first couple of times I used this I didn't like it. The popcorn seemed a little soggy. I tried something different and found that the popcorn comes out great if you take the butter melter off the top of the machine and cook it so all the air can escape. the popcorn was fluffy and tasted terrific. I just melted the butter in a pan on the stove and poured it on the popcorn. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the popcorn comes out so fluffy and perfect. This is the best thing known to man. Look at what comes with it. You can cook eggs, scramble eggs, poached eggs. This machine will do everything and it will tap dance too. I love this machine. It makes things so easy egg salad is quick and fast poached eggs are so healthy sprinkle a little bit of veggies on top, the scrambled eggs are great. you can make omelettes. It is equipped with every instrument you need it has a little thing with it that pokes holes in the eggs before you put them in to the machine. The cooking time is fast. I ordered two of them. I have heard so many people talk about their Air Fryers that I had to have one: I ordered this because I have a small kitchen and there are only two of us in the household. Much of this unit is plastic, but it seems strong and well-made, and the aqua is beautiful. The first thing that I cooked was chicken: 4 drumsticks to be exact, which fit nicely. I rinsed and patted them dry, and then I hit them with a tiny bit of olive oil spray and seasoning: Twenty-five minutes on 400 and they were very good: Different than traditional fried chicken, but easy clean-up and a whole lot less calories and fat. There was a little bit of a funny smell the first time I used it, but I was expecting this and it went away quickly: I washed the basket and rack before use with warm soapy water before use and I wiped the rest of it down with a damp cloth and I think that's why the smell faded so fast..
