It’s very simple to use, and looks exactly like the picture. I have the pink one. I only have to warn you that the instructions aren’t accurate. So if you use 1 cup of rice only fill the water to the half line. Next do not leave the rice inside the cooker on warm when it’s finished cooking. It will burn. The first couple of times I used this I didn't like it. The popcorn seemed a little soggy. I tried something different and found that the popcorn comes out great if you take the butter melter off the top of the machine and cook it so all the air can escape. the popcorn was fluffy and tasted terrific. I just melted the butter in a pan on the stove and poured it on the popcorn. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the popcorn comes out so fluffy and perfect. It's a popcorn popper. It works as expected with no issues. It does however look great and is a far cry from the basic black popper I bought in college 20 years ago for $6 that is still kicking. I purchased this in the teal color and it is CUTE. The dial allows you to control temperature easily and it is VERY responsive. The cups around are small and I would say add to the overall look (if you want to put in samples of what is on the menu) but youll still need dishescups if you have several thingsthis is a meal-style fondue as the quantity of dippings youll need exceeds what will fit in each cup. Also mentionable pros THIS IS ALL DISHWASHER SAFE. I have put it through twice and so far so good. No peeling, fading, etc. This appears to be built well. I would gift this (but I am keeping mine!). The plug goes in with 2 prongs but has a magnetic pull, too. Before you think this is a con (I at first did because it didnt seem secure) it absolutely is a PRO. My husband is clumsy. People are clumsy and fondue is a team sport, a family affair, a conversational treat, etc. People are moving around a lot and the cord WILL get hit. This cord is secure but will get knocked out if someone knocks it with their foot, elbow, etc. meaning the hot contents wont splash everywhere!
