The bowl itself is beautiful. I really liked the different choice of colors, also. This bowl 1o" in diameter. I failed to notice that important tidbit. It was to be a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. I planned to put the heart shaped stones - which I ordered from Wayfair. However, when I put the first heart in it, I realized that the bowl was too large. It is also too large for their coffee table. Found a 7" bowl for the hears.
