Overall I think it looks very nice! It’s definitely sturdy and adds such a warm touch to our living room while creating some privacy for my desk. I just love looking at it. This will definitely be a fun little project for me. If you were to look closely at it, you’d notice minor flaws where to wood wasn’t given a cleaner cut and there are extra wood shavings hanging out. I ended up doing a thorough wipe down as wood stain was still coming off of it. I let it air out for about a week because the smell of their wood stainoil was quite strong. Parts of this screen DO feel a little cheap and flimsy where they’ve done the carvings of the sun and moon. Upon wiping it down, some wood chips had flaked off. I can’t figure out whether or not I like the Sun facial expressions, I was expecting them to be more subtle. Fortunately I can eventually seal and cover them up.
