These pans are glorious. I've been wanting All Clad for a long time and was happy to finally get these. We just bought a nice Cuisinart stainless steel set but really needed a good nonstick pan for certain things. These conduct heat very well and are great quality. Nice pan at a nice price. As some of the reviews have pointed out, the pan discolors on the inside with use. Washing doesn't remove the discoloration, but presumably a cleanser might. Tramontina recommends Barkeeper's Friend but I haven't tried it. Regardless, it's just cosmetic. The pan has a nice handle, is oven safe, and is induction range compatible. I got this pan set to give as a gift to someone I know who has a T-Fal collection, after watching the video about the new line of T-fal I would have to say I am surprised at the improvements they have made with there pans over the past 30 yrs, when I got married in the 90’s they were nothing more then your first set of pots and pans to use, as you learned to cook, also the most affordable on the market, but now they have made so many enhancements to there cooking line I would like to try them.. they have a Heat Mastery, with a thermo-spot in the center of the pan that indicates when the pan is preheated perfectly to start cooking, there is a pro glide non stick on the whole entire pan, an even heat base on the bottom of the pan, and they even added pouring spouts on one side of the pans, together with the lifetime guarantee, I see T-fal has upped there game in the cooking world, I do also like the special grip they added to the handle which I have never seen before on any pan line. I got these in a beautiful red color, which is a deep brick color red, I cant wait to give these as a gift, please see pictures for all I mentioned in this review.. Holly. Excellent pan! The people leaving bad reviews about receiving warped pans is one thing. That would make me furious, expecting the best quality item and getting a defective product. So I get it. However! These folks leaving reviews about worst pan ever everything sticks, clearly have no idea what theyre doing and have zero concept of pan seasoning or basic oil burn temps. I opened the box, adored its beauty for a moment, washed it, dried it, got the pan warm, added some high burn point neutral oil, swirled it around the pan and painted the sides, let it start to smoke lightly then let the pan cool. After this quick process I fried 4 eggs in the pan with a tiny but of oil... the egg floated around the pan like a little delicious, protein packed angel on a cloud. Having the right tool for the job is only one aspect of creating fantastic food. You must have the right ingredients, seasoning, oil and technique. I have many pans, of all makes, shapes and sizes. Some will last for several generations. But as we all know, nonstick pans are not that durable, so I've learned my lesson about spending a small fortune on high end nonstick cookware. Having said that, these two Tramontina skillets are excellent. They are truly nonstick, and yet they do something other nonstick pans can't do: brown salmon fillets ( and chops ). I couldn't believe the lovely bronze finish of my fish, something heretofore was only possible in either my cast iron skillet or my French blue steel pans. Absolutely amazing !
