Delta decorative grab/slide bars are ADA-compliant. They can be positioned 33 to 36" above the finished floor. The bars do not rotate within the fittings and will support up to 500 pounds of force, twice the ADA requirement of 250 pounds of force.

We updated our master bath to make it handicap accessible since both my husband and I are disabled. We loved that this hand held shower also doubles as an ADA compliant grab bar. It functions nicely. I can have it on at the same time as our two shower heads or independently. Just had to install a valve. I like that we could install it next to the bench instead of a one piece unit from the wall, that is impossible to reach when you are non-weight bearing. Love the finish. Excuse any dust on it. Looks great, no damage. Ordered 2 of these for 2 different bathrooms. I will update this review once we install in July 2021. UPDATED: It's now August 2022 and I wanted to update my review on Wayfair. I purchased these 2 of these faucet sets in Chrome. Along with the Lahara Tub and Shower Faucet Trim with Monitor and Lever Handles, and they were both installed a year ago July. Super easy installation according to our contractor. I did have to buy a non-diverter tub spout for one of the bathrooms where we had a tub in the shower. I wish this was an option when I bought this set.
