One of the first things that I examined was the interior of the faucet handles, and I was delighted to see that the inner connectors are metal rather than cheap plastic. The Lumicoat finish beautifully hides/prevents fingerprints. Even better, for those of us who are not professional plumbers, is the well-written and illustrated installation guide. It offers detailed step-by-step instructions **along with warnings of what NOT to do!* There are multiple side-by-side depictions of correct versus incorrect assembly at each step of the process. Also, there are clearly labeled sub-assembly packets so that you are not left staring at a huge pile of parts. They even offer instruction variations based on whether you are using conventional or Pex fittings. The illustrations are large, clear, and are meant to help you avoid mistakes.
