Unboxed and used and have to say that I hate the lids. They get too hot to handle without an oven mit. I did find some silicone wraps that worked. I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. Great looking pan set I ordered two different sets one in mat and one in shiny out side metal. I find using a generous amount of oil in the pans helps since the insides have ridges easy clean up after the pans cool off and soak in water for a tiny bit wipes right out. I just recently purchased this set because Cuisinart is supposed to be a reliable household name and I liked that it was rated as safe nonstick stainless steel cookware! However the two smaller fry pans that came with the set have marks in them as if they’ve been scuffed so I’m not happy!
